survival skills, snorkeling the Channel Islands and learning about the Chumash Indians

the wild just like Karana did in the “Island of the Blue Dolphins” book.
• Discover why the Channel Islands are considered the “Galapagos of California”
as you learn about (and spot) some of the 2,000 animal and plant species that
live there.
• Experience the wildlife of the Channel Islands as you snorkel in a secluded cove and
a kelp forest and during a boat ride to watch for whales, dolphins and porpoises.
